Quick help

How do I add fabric? Go to the Stash tab → tap +. Take a photo, choose one from your library to crop, or add several at once. Set the swatch's real-world size so it tiles at true scale.

What does "finished size" mean? Every size in TideStitch is the finished size — the space a piece takes up in the completed quilt. Your squared-up / cut size is finished + the seam allowance on each edge. Set your seam allowance in Settings.

How do I make a whole quilt, not just one block? Open a design → Layout (top toolbar) → set rows and columns. Use Multiply to repeat the top-left block, then recolor individual blocks for gradients, or use the Blocks palette to change a cell's block type.

The blocks are tiny — how do I color them? Pinch to zoom and drag to pan on the design canvas. Tap a patch to fill it with the loaded color or fabric. Tap the magnifier button to reset the zoom.

Does my work sync between devices? Yes — if you're signed into iCloud, your stash and designs sync privately across your devices. Your phone makes a great camera; your iPad makes a great studio.

Will my designs ever leave my device? No. Your fabric photos and designs stay on your device and in your private iCloud. Nothing is sent to us. See the Privacy Policy.
