TideStitch
Photograph your fabric, drop it into a quilt block, and see it tiled at true scale, before you cut a single piece.

What it does
Your real fabric, at real scale
Photograph a swatch, set its real-world size, and TideStitch tiles it true to scale: a 6″ print in a 12″ block repeats exactly as it would in cloth.
Load the brush, then paint
Tap a fabric or colour to load it, then tap or drag across patches to fill them. Swap fabrics anytime; the eraser clears.
A growing block library
Thirteen classic blocks, from Pinwheel to Bear Paw, plus two canvases you size yourself (a configurable HST grid and a plain-squares one-patch), with more added in app updates.
Design Your Own boards
Start from a blank top instead of a block. Cut a grid into triangles and true-measurement bands, or go Radial and fan rays out from a compass anchor, then merge, paint, and undo anything.
Jelly Roll mode
Declare a roll, photograph its strips, and get fabric-first pattern suggestions that show exactly how many of your strips each one uses.
Build the whole quilt
Tile one block into a full grid, mix block types cell by cell, or paint each block for a gradient across the top, then finish it with sashing, nested borders, and corner blocks.
Design to pattern in one tap
Make Pattern turns a design into rotary-cutting instructions, per-fabric yardage, and numbered assembly steps, exported as a PDF. Matching HSTs are batched 2-, 4-, or 8-at-a-time automatically.
A stash that stays sortable
Tag swatches by colour, material, and print style, then filter your stash down to exactly the fabrics that fit the quilt in front of you.
Autosaves & syncs
Every change saves itself, and your stash and designs sync across your devices over iCloud.
The block library

Every block tiles the unit square exactly: geometry is programmatically generated and verified. New blocks are added with app updates.
